It's a pretty name. I like how it's familiar, not too out there, but not overly common at the same time. I just hope it doesn't get too popular. It's now at the bottom of the top 100 list in the U.S.

My dad wanted to name me Naomi, so if my mother had liked it, it very well could have been my name. I wish they had gone with Naomi. I would have been the only Naomi in all of my classes back when I was in school.

I think Naomi is quite lovely. It's a Hebr. name, thus spreading it around the En.-speaking world and it also exists in Jpns. Thus, it's a solid name in multiple cultures.
Had my bro. been a girl, I wanted the name to be Naomi Amanda. Thus, that combo has always been a like for me even though my bro is now 24.

I like Naomi a lot. It has the benefit of being a name most people are familiar with but it isn't too common. I haven't ever met one.

This was my grandmothers middle name so it has a very sweet loving connotation to me. My cousin just named her baby this and she's gotten a lot of compliments.

I love Naomi, and think it works on just about anyone.
