Hey, I haven't been around for a while, but when I stopped by & saw THIS, I simply *had* to put in my two cents' worth! ;oDI much prefer the prn kor-IN. kor-EEN is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me, as are most -EEN names, with probably 2 exceptions. It's just a harsh, whiny sound in my ears. As for spelling, I prefer Corrine or Corinne on everyone else so I can be a little different with the Korrine spelling. :o) To be honest, though, I'm more inclined to prn the name kor-IN when I see 2 n's (which negates the silent e) and kor-een when I see 2 r's. So I can't really get too upset when people misprn. my name based on spelling. I just hate when cashiers or bank tellers tell me, "Have a nice day, Koreeeeeen." I'd rather be Ma'am-ed! In fact, I once had a college professor who initially prn. my name correctly, but mid-semester started calling me Koreen. One day, in class, I told him that refering to me as Miss Surname would be fine.
Edited to add that in college I lived next door to a girl named Coreen. Sometimes people would call my room to talk to her b/c her phone was busy & my roommates would hand the phone to me, thinking someone was mispronouncing my name. When that happened, it would take several minutes of conversation before we would get everthing straightened out and get them on with the right gal!

I think Corrine is a very pretty name and I pronounce it ko-RIN. Corrine pronounced ko-REEN is also very pretty.

I say them both "kor-reen". I dislike the spellings though - Corinne is the only way I like it, and I far prefer Corinna as a name._____________________________________________________________________Elinor"I couldn't imagine somebody like Osama bin Laden understanding the joy of Hanukkah."

Corinne is French and I prefer this spelling with the French pronunciation, co-REEN. Knowing that in the US co-RINN is used just as often, I'm more drawn to Corinna (cor-EEN-a) which I think has a better chance of being pronounced correctly. I also like it spelled Korinna which is Greek and German, I believe. To answer your question, between your two choices, I prefer the C spelling.

I prefer Corinne over both of those but since it's not an option then I'll say Corrine. But in all honesty Korrine doesn't bother me. Sometimes the K replacement spellings irritate me and others they don't, in this case I don't really mind.I've always pronounced them as ko-RIN.

I pronunce them both as coh-RIHN, but I can't say I'm fond of either spelling. I prefer them with two N's and one R. Corinne is really nice.Array

I prn them Ko-RIN, but for Kor-EEN I would spell it Corinne. Of your spellings, I would use Corrinne, though.

I pronounce it ko-RIN. I would usually go with a c spelling but with this name I quite like it with a k.

I prefer Corrine and pronounce it ko-RIN.
(Very irritating with a girl on America's Next Top Model who spelled it Coryn, but pro. ko-RIN. I kept wanting to say KO-rin whenever I saw her name.)

Sorry, I have to say these are probably in my bottom five. If I was to choose a spelling (probably during a hostage negotiation!) it would probably be with a C. K seems really out of place to me.My Mum has two friends called Corrine and she pronounces it ko-RIN.
