Wilder

I think it could be ok as a MN, although I myself would then choose Wilde for Oscar Wilde.
As a FN I think there could be a lot of teasing.

It's a little too "wild", lol, for a fn. Maybe as a mn. I prefer Wilde and as a mn, though. :b

I'm afraid I can only think of the word when I hear this. I think that any boy called Wilder would have to put up with constant jokes asking him what or who it is that he's "wilder" than.
I see Wild, then er.
Otherwise, it would be okay.

ditto here
Its not my style but it might work as a middle name
Cute.
Hey, this is cool!
Wilder really sounds great! Hearing/seeing it it always reminds me of Thornton Wilder (the American author and playwrite). It's awesome! I really like it! Thakn's for sharing it! :-)

It reminds me of Oscar Wilde, even though the end syllables are not the same. I want to like it, but it seems to unconventional as a first name. It fits with the surname trend, but I think I'd much prefer it as a middle name. Actually, I think it would make a great middle name, for a boy or a girl.

It reminds me of author Laura Ingalls Wilder and her husband Almanzo Wilder, so it's totaly a last name for me. The wild part of it makes it seem identical in meaning to rowdy or party animal, something like that. So I can't say I like it very much. :(
I like it! I also like Wilde
