I don't care for Marnie, but I love Georgie! Marnie I think is fine as a full name, because it sounds good for both a little girl and a grown woman; Georgie, on the other hand, is adorable for a girl but I can't really imagine a woman with this name, especially if she's in any profession where you have to be taken seriously :) So I'd use the legal name of Georgia, call her Georgie, and let her decide when she grows up if she wants to keep or throw away the nick name.
