My dad is watching American Pickers and they just met a guy named...HUMPY?
Seriously, Humpy!!!! I don't even know what to say about this except what were his parents thinking!?!?!?!?
Well, I guess it may be a nickname for Humphrey but I've never understood how someone could name their child that either: Hump Free. Do they not see how it close they are.

I really hope it's a nickname, but even then, who the heck wants to be called Humpy?

That's awful. Humpy was actually what someone (I think it was my sister?) named this toy my dog had before he was neutered. You get the picture. :/
I just find the nickname comedic... The former race track manager of Charlotte Motor Speedway was nicknamed Humpy, never understood why.
That's the one from on American Pickers :) I've seen that episode. They were picking for the NASCAR Hall of Fame Museum.
WWWHHHAAATTTT???!!!
Hmmm... that's unfortunate.... for the person lumped w/ the name... about as bad as being Pippa in Sweden... but it would have been worse in the 80s... at least people don't use that term as much anymore.

Humpy is a HORRIBLE nickname. I don't care for Humphrey (hum free, not hump free), but Humpy is just WHAT?! Sounds like a bad nickname for a cat.
