Tigerlily
Wdyto Tigerlily for a girl? I used to think I'd never use it, but lately my names have got more eccentric.I like it best spelt as one word, since hyphens look messy to me, and Tiger Lily looks unbalanced when you separate. I might use Tiger as a short form, though not all the time.Any mn suggestions? I was thinking ...Tigerlily Bethan
Tigerlily Brogan (ancestral surname - but the girly / harsh contrast might be too much)
Tigerlily Charis
Tigerlily Sasha (my fave I think)
Tigerlily ShonaIt's hard ... It needs something a bit different, but not weird, since Tigerlily's odd enough already._____________________________________________________________________Elinor"I couldn't imagine somebody like Osama bin Laden understanding the joy of Hanukkah."

I really like it! It's a very different name, but it's also very pretty. Tigerlily Sasha is my fave combo too, it's lovely.

I think it's a bad idea.
I like names with meanings that are not quite so obvious. It just seems a bit unsophisticated, kind of like a striper's name.

Rose, Lily, Violet, Daisy-no reason not to use Tigerlily.

Although I like flower names, this is perhaps a bit much, from a realistic perspective. Can you picture an attorney named Tigerlily? A stockbroker? A mayor? A surgeon? But perhaps a yoga instructor, a spa attendant, a designer of fashion accessories, or an art student?I think it's prone to typecasting.

I played Tigerlily in our third grade play of Peter Pan so I've always had a soft spot for the name! :) That said, I honestly can't picture it on a real person. Oh, I guess except for Michael Hutchence's daughter (who they call Tiger)! It's pretty, just maybe a bit too much. Although if you call her Lily that would be sweet.

Awww, Tiger Lily is the name of one of our three cats. Honestly, I think I like it better on a feline. You could always name her Lily and let Tigerlily be a pet name.

It was my favorite name wehn I was 5I used to want to be called it but I was addicted to peterpan then, It sounds like a pets name. I dont want to get nasty but that is not right as a name.

I like it in theory but could never use it

The truth is, I have met the right person, only he's not in love with me, and until I stop loving him no-one else stands a chance

In theory, I can see it--perhaps because lilies are some of my favourite flowers, and tigerlilies are among my favourites of the lily family--but in practice, she'd have to be the right sort of person to make it work. I don't like Tiger Lily so well, but perhaps Tiger-Lily would work. Tigerlily does its job pretty adequately.Tigerlily Bethan is my favourite of your list. I'll try and come up with some combos for you in a bit (when I'm not so tired!). Whenever I think of you, though, I think of Harper, and so Tigerlily Harper sprung to mind immediately--I suppose in the same way that if I'd asked about the name, Tigerlily Rae would've been one of the first suggestions. ;)Array

Tigerlily is cute! I think a one syllable middle name may sound best with it. Tigerlily Maeve is the first thing to come to mind right now.

I love it!Although I do prefer Tiger Lily. When I was little I was always going to have a baby girl named Tiger Lily, and all my dolls were named it. I'm suprised I still like it and yes, I would actually use it. I have really put a middle name together because I haven't found one I actually like together with it.Some on the top of my head:Tigerlily Adele
Tigerlily Susannah
