This might be terrible, but I like them both on girls. I grew up with a girl Jory and a couple of girl Jodys. I think Jody is okay for a boy, but doesn't suit a grown man very well - much like the way I feel about Cody and Brody. I don't think I'd call it usable - for myself; it could be used but not without making a statement. I haven't encounted male Jodys so "dated" is not what comes to mind.

I think Jory would be alright. Better than Jody, more usable for a boy.
