Fleur and Esmee
Replies
I prefer Esmee, but I would spell it with just one E (Esme or Esmé) as I think it looks neater, and the second E doesn't really add anything. (in fact I think Esmee looks more like ez-mee than ez-may)
I think Esme sounds cuter and more modern than Fleur, which is kind of dated. Esme is also a bit more feminine sounding to me.

I
ooo I love both. I love Fleur because I love french names and it's a lovely alternative to all the floral names about at the moment. I like girls names that are a bit different.
I just love the sound and elegance of Esmee, and again it's a french name.
If I had to pick i'd go with Esmee, but only because I love Flora more than Fleur

I like Esmee, but only spelled Esmée. I also like Aimée. I would however avoid Esmée currently. It's too Twilight and might get really popular and would probably always be spelled Esme and be pronounced ES-mee instead of ez-MAY. Fleur is nice, but not my style. I guess I still prefer Esmée but maybe it would be better to use Fleur nowadays.
The correct French pronunciation of Fleur is a little complicated. I speak French and I don't even know how to explain it. It's a sound that doesn't exist in the English language. So maybe it wouldn't be the best choice, I don't know.
