Layla

Well, my favorite spelling is Lejla (I know a few with this spelling all over 20), but in an English-speaking country I'd use Layla.
And I love the new feature we have where you can see popularity stats and icons if you click on the name (which show that, yes the name is popular and it's on the rise).

I like it, it's a charming name. I've never met one IRL.
In the Czech Republic is very popular, which is a pity. It's a very nice name. I pronounce it as a lie-lah.
It's pretty, but this spelling strikes me as trendy because of its similarity to Kayla, which used to be very popular. Even though Layla wasn't popular in the late 80s and early 90s, it still has a bit of a dated feel due to Kayla. It doesn't bother me all that much though.
As far as spelling goes, I prefer Laila to Layla. Laila looks cleaner and less trendy.

I am seeing it more now than I used to. I only knew one when I was growing up, but now I know I've met at least a couple under age 7. L-l names are in right now, I guess; Lila, Lily, Lola, and Layla are all becoming more popular.
I neutral toward Leila, but I really don't like the other spellings.

I love Leila (this particular spelling) and I haven't heard the name much at all. Then again, my children are all older now so I'm not around the babies or the preschoolers much anymore.
