Warning: rant from an old poop.
Not at all. It's fine for a boy, although overly used at the moment. But I dislike gender-bending names intensely. I think it send the wrong message to little girls: it's a man's world. Girls should glory in being feminine. Equal, and feminine. Vive la difference.

I don't really agree with the whole "giving a girl a boys' name will make her sound stronger and cooler!" train of thought either. However, if I liked a name that was conventionally a boys' name, but I thought it sounded better on a girl, then I would use it for a girl. Not for any gender reason, just personal preference.

I used to know a Kyle who was in his 30's.....very childish, and no, I wasn't dateing him.
