Ha, that is funny. Bean was my 5-yo daughter's baby-nick (rarely she is still called that by her father) and Tater (as in potato, analogous to bean but more boyish-sounding, I thought) was my son's baby-nick (rarely still used, he's 3 and is outgrowing it).
I would not have put either of them on the BC, myself, because they weren't really names *of anyone* until the baby was born. When I was pregnant, I referred to my daughter as "the FC" for a while (future child), and that would have seemed about as sensible (not at all), at the time she was born, to put on her BC. But I think Tater and Bean might be not worse than filler names, if you honestly don't have any names you even slightly want to use. They're silly and childish, but at least not meaningless.
