I love the sound and look of it, but not a fan of the meaning.

I LOVE MAHALIA!!! My stock combos for her are Mahalia Eulalie and Mahalia Azalie. But I say it more like mah-HAIL-yah

I like its appearance on paper, but I don't like the sound of it out loud.

I've met a girl (she's maybe ~12 now) named Mahalia before. She pronounced it more like mah-HAIL-yah.

It's such a pretty name, visually. But it really doesn't feel right when said out loud. I prefer Malia.

Aw, I thought it was pronounced ma-HAH-lee-yah. :(
I don't really like the -hail part. It doesn't have a nice sound in my opinion. I kind of like the look of it but it's not really my style.

I love it! It's mellifluous and soulful.
