I like it, but I'm kind of tired of it. It's not that I've met a ton- just a couple, actually- but it used to be everywhere among the namenerds.I think it's soft, gentle, friendly.

I don't think the name is bad, per se, just boring. I guess I feel like there are quite a few Owens around. I've known a few under the age of about 8. I really don't like when little Owen become Owie. Blech.I'd have fun with the middle name. Take it out of the box a bit. I think I like
Owen Amadeus.

I'm not a fan personallyIt's quite popular here in the UK I know more Owen's under 10 than I do Jack's and Oliver's

I quite like it, but not enough to use. This is partly because of one particularly nasty Owen from my past, and partly because I also know a perfectly nice Owen who is always known as Owie. Spelling-wise, I prefer Eoin, which sounds the same but looks pretty different; but I wouldn't use it either.

I really like it.Owen would've been my name if I was a boy. Strangely, there was actually a boy in my school called Owen with the same last name as me (and my last name really isn't common at all), so it's a good job I wasn't named that!Middle names:Owen Joseph
Owen Michael - wouldn't work in some places because of Michael Owen
Owen Bartholomew
Owen Joshua
Owen George
Owen Frederick
Owen Miles
Owen James
Owen Josiah
Owen Oliver
Owen MatthewAlso I like the welsh version Owain (oh-wine). My next-door neighbour is called Owain.

I don't know. I love "O" names but have never been fond of Owen. He's all right, but I guess he's always paled in comparison to Euan for me.for example (and maybe this is some long forgotton personal association)
Owen drinks Budweiser and has a scraggly mullet and facial hair that is questionably clean.
Euan drinks pints at the pub and has a 5 o'clock shadow that you want to bury your face in.
