Flannery and Joy

Both are lovely names. I prefer Flannery.
I'm not sure about Flannery, to some extent it reminds be of flattery, but it's kind of a cool name. It also makes me think of Flannery O'Connor which is a nice association (she's a Southern author from the 50s and 60s though much of her work was published later)
Joy is very beautiful. It's simple sweet and happy, fits great as a mn but I would LOVE to see people looking at it as a first name.
