Rafe...
Can you give me some longer names that Rafe could be derived from. It doesn't have to be something that necessarily fits like Rafael as long as you tell me how you made the connection.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Radulf, Randolph, Israfil, Raffiq, Serafim or Serafin?
I prefer Raphael - Rafe as a nick name. I do not really have any other associations. I think Rafe is a wonderful name.
Rafferty has always been my pick as a longer form of Rafe. I think it's a fun name, and I love Rafe!
I work with a Raphael who goes by Rafe. Others:
Rafferty (starts with Raf-)
Radcliff (starts with Ra- and ends with -f)
Rudolph / Rudolf (R-f)
Randolph (R-f)
River (Starts with R, and V and F make very similar sounds)
Roosevelt (R/v)
I think the "ray" beginning sound is enough to justify Rafe. So:
Raymond
Reagan
Rachel, even.
