I love it. I'd use it if I was feeling bold and had a partner who was on board. I figure it's shortenable to Hera, Zade "ZAHH-dee" or "ZAHHD" (depending on how you say Scheherazade) or even Scher. How cool would Scher be. Everyone would think you were a Cher addict and then you'd be all "actually it's short for Scheherazade"

I have heard of the story, but it dosn't really affect my feelings on the name other than to give it literary depth.
