WDYTO it? Nimue is pronounced NIM-oo-ay, btw. If you heard this name on a person, what do you imagine her to look like? And sorry for making two posts so close together! :O

I think it's a very bizarre name, and the "moo" part in the middle certainly doesn't help. It sounds like some kind of exotic food to me. I picture a dark haired avant garde chick with severe bangs and a Lady Gaga dress on.

It was a favorite when I was a kid, and even though I don't super love it anymore, it will always have a special place. I think it's adorable. nn Nim, awww. But it has this strength and magic to it, too.

I love it. It's so fairy-like and delicate. I'd imagine a Nimue to be very feminine, sensitive and ethereal, someone whimsical and fanciful. :)

Wonderful, I love it! I imagine a Nimue as a very beautiful girl with either snow-white or chestnut brown hair, green eyes and a cheeky smile.

I love Nimue. In the show Merlin, they pronounce the name NIM-way. It may not be technically correct (in fact, it only sounds like NIM-oo-ay being said quickly), but I like the pronunciation much better.

I remember that in my neighbourhood a little girl was born and her name was Nimue. I live in Belgium, and most people had no idea how to pronounce it. Otherwise I think it's a nice name, but only if you're Irish or have Irish roots.

I like it, but as soon as I read your title I started humming the 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight' bit. 'A nimue, a nimue.' Sorry.

I like it.

I remember this from Arthur legends. In the movie, it was pronounced NIM-oo (not that that makes it correct )
I do like the two syllable pronunciation better.
