Sollemnia
Recently, the name Sollemnia has come to my attention. I discovered it when I perused some of my older favorites Solange and Solenne (variant of Solene), and realized that they all descended from the Latin name Sollemnia. The more I say the name, the more beautiful it sounds. What do you think?

Love Sollemnia. It's gorgeous and might be the all-time *calm* name for a girl. Someone was looking for a formal name for Sol (f) yesterday. I dind't even think of Sollemnia / Solange / Solene. Hmmm. I'll see if I can rectify that.

It's beautiful, but in a GPish sort of way. Given its closeness to the word "solemn", I'd be more likely to use the name for a poem or character than for a real person.

Reminds me of Salmonella for some odd reason. NMS.
