The only Molly I know is a dog. In fact I know three dogs called Molly.
I do think it's a cute name but it's so popular on pets here! (according to freakonomics, Molly is the most popular name for both cats and dogs in England) This just makes it unusable to me, even though I do like it.
Molly's siblings would have similar nicknamey qualities - Alfie, Charlie, Harry, Lily, Poppy, Evie...

Molly has always been a fave of mine and as simple as it may sound, my fave combo has always been Molly Rose. I don't actually know anyone named Molly. Molly would have siblings with equally as classic names imo, like Eloise/Louisa, Kate, Jane, Hannah, Olivia, Sarah, Daniel, Oliver, Harry/Henry, Thomas, Samuel, Aaron, Benjamin.
It's OK, I prefer it as a nn for Mary, rather than a name in its own right.
I know one Molly, my cousin, she's 15. Her siblings are Lucy (17) and George (18).

I think it's cute, but seems very young. I can't see an older Molly. I know four girls named Molly: two 16, one 14, and one 7. One of their middle names is Noelle, which I'm not a fan of because of the double double-L's. The others middle names are Elizabeth, Anne, and Rose, which I think are all very basic and filler but flow quite well. Surprisingly, three of them have sisters named Megan/Meghan and the other is an only child.
ETA: I remembered another Molly! She's 18 and uses it as a nickname for Mary. She has two sisters, Maggie and Erin.

I know onw dog named Molly and one human (teenager) and I also know of another Molly, who is a sister to a Kathryn Miranda "Katie". I don't know any of their middle names. I'd name Molly's siblings anything short and sweet and slightly popular: Lucy, Katie, Hannah, Laura, Cora, Elsie, Violet, Lila, Jenna, Dana, Rachel, Allie, Jesse, James, Jordan, Sean, Will, Colin, Liam, David, Davey, Vince, Lance, etc.
It's nice as a nn, IMO, but I'd want a more grown up name for her to fall back on. Like it though.
I have a strange relationship with Molly. For the longest time, most of my childhood, I loved it. Wanted to name my daughter Molly. It even remained on my using list around the time it was actually necessary for me to think about such things. But the past few years, it's dropped off my list completely. I wouldn't use it anymore. But it's not entirely off my radar. I still think it's cute and I have an affection for it. I think part of its downfal came because I'd now prefer to use it as a nn, and have never liked Mary enough to use, and for some reason won't consider it as a nn for Margaret. Meh.
Anyway, I think there's a lot going on with it for such a little name. It's upbeat and colorful and full of energy, and yet I can see it on some shy pioneer woman, too. I also think it feels pretty sporty.
I've known lots of Mollys, but the ones I can think of right now...
Molly, my second cousin, about 27
At least 3 Mollys I've gone to school with, so are in their mid-20s
One Molly age 3
I'd name Molly's siblings pretty traditional stuff, or it would also work with some 80s names, I guess!
