Aaron

I'm not fond of it, but this is only because my name is Erin. All of my life, people try to spell my name "Aaron." Also, many people think Erin is just a feminine form of Aaron. This annoys me so much. My name is an entirely separate name, that is even pronounced differently. Sorry, vent over. Obviously the name Aaron annoys me simply for personal reasons. Otherwise, it's a solid name. :-)
Always been a fave of mine and DH loves it too, but I'd only use it as a mn, as it's too popular here.

But I had to wish you a happy anniversary (belated, though!) I didn't realize we were married with weeks of each other!

"My So-Called Life" was such a good show! Good comparison. :)
Oh, I loved that show, and he was totally my Jordan. I think everyone has one when they're 15.
I don't particularly like it, as in I would never consider it, but I don't mind it. It's a solid classic. There's a little boy at the daycare I work at named Aaron. He's two and has an older sister named Claire.
It isn't a bad name but I'm not a huge fan. I've known/know of four ranging in age from mid 30's to about 3.
This isn't a negative but I do think of it as more popular among African Americans.

Yes, that's what I thought and I think it looks worse in upper case.
I like the sound but not sure on how I feel about how it actually looks written down.
I like Aaron. I think it's a solid, handsome name, not flashy but not dull either. The 2 As at the beginning make it visually interesting to me.
It's already on my list, but there are other names I like more. I'd seriously consider it, though, if I had a husband/partner who loved it.

There is a little boy named Aaron next door. The name is solid and classic. I don't mind it.
I wouldn't use it, but I like it. And I only recently began to like it because before it was one of those so common it was blah kind of names. But I think it's kind of handsome now.
I don't mind Aaron. I like that it's common enough that people know the name, but I feel like it's not too prone to trends. I know as many Aarons over 35 as under 35. I wouldn't use it, but it's too ordinary for me. In general I don't oppose ordinary, it's just not for me.
Why did it look awkward? The two As? Or the uppercase?

I think it being uppercase and the caps. Plus, at the centre I'm used to seeing very kreative spellings and trendy names. The moms are usually just teens and all are low class financially. A more common name therefore looked awkward.
Oops...
I meant to say upper case and the 2 As.
