Do you know Godwin's Law?

It states: As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1.
The law has been interpreted to mean that the first person in an argument to make an unwarranted comparison to Nazis or Hitler automatically loses.
It has existed for fifteen years now, and most internet fen recognize the term. That's all I think of when I hear the name Godwin. Ick.
