It was my great-grandmother's name, and she was the only one I'd ever heard of so I always thought it sounded old until I encountered someone with a baby Zella (named for her own great-grandmother, oddly enough). Suddenly I began to realize it fit trends with a fresh vintage appeal. I like it now.Zelle alone sounds pretty nicknamey, but it's okay.
