Carolina
We're leaving from our South Carolina vacation, and it got me thinking about Carolina. WDYT?

I prefer Caroline. I also like Caroline pronounced car-o-lee-na

Yes, yes, yes! I love Caroline because of its beautiful sound and solid citizen elegance. But she can get a bit staid sometimes. Along comes Carolina and "whoosh!" puts the fun back in the name. Carolina has so much energy.I love both the American "-EYE-nuh" as well as the Spanish "-EE-nuh" pronunciations.

I LOVE Carolina, but only with the Spanish pronounciation. Beautiful name. :)

I quite like it. I have considered it as amiddle name to honour boyfriend's Mum Carol. Ideas included Juliet Carolina, Iris Carolina. If I used it as a first name, I would use Cara as a nickname.

I used to live in South Carolina and I didn't like it, so it has a negative association for me so I wouldn't use. But in spite of that I think it is a pretty name.

I always think of the state, so I don't think it's usable for me. It's cute and much better than any trendy-type names, but I do prefer Caroline as well.

Very Pretty. I don't think I would use it personally. But I do like it. I think I prefer it over Caroline with nn Cara
