I prefer Sophia by a small margin -- it looks fuller and more luxurious to me. However, I have some affection for Sofia as well (it was my 'Spanish name' in high school). Sophia makes me think of a vast, starry sky at the break of dawn, while Sofia makes me think of a sandy beach.
