None of them get called Rosie. The worst that gets done to the name is that people call them "Rose Lee" and miss the "ah" in there. But I think you should of course prepare yourself for someone calling a Rosalie Rosie - it's just so easy to do. Just encourage plain Rose as much as possible, I guess.
I don't think it's arrogant of you to like the name Rosalie. In fact, I'm getting pretty sick of how it's totally ok and admirable to name sons (and daughters) after fathers, but if you think about honouring the mother, it's "selfish" or some crap. That is rubbish and I think the connection between your middle name and Rosalie is actually very nice.
I really don't associate it with Twilight at all. That actually might be preferable to the association I do have - that it's a snarky middle-aged woman's name.
