Katharina
I visited a cemetery with my parents today, and I found a crypt belonging to my German ancestors. I encountered the name Katharina in the family crypt. I think she was my great-great-great-grandmother, born in Germany over 170 years ago (I forget her birth year; she died a little before 1900). I also saw the name Katharina on other women buried in other old crypts.
I think Katharina sounds very pretty. What do you think of it?

Oops! Meant for the OP.
Katharina is beautiful! I do prefer Katarina or Caterina just because I think they're more likely to be pronounced correctly.
