Chance
I'm into word names right now. What do you think of Chance? Do you prefer it on a boy or a girl? I like it for a girl but think it's nice on a boy, too.

I like Chance as a name and find it absolutely, completely masculine. Would not like to see it on a girl at all.

I don't really like it. I would use it on a girl I think.

It definitely seems better suited for a boy. I don't really care for it as a person's name in general. I've heard it used for too many dogs. In my mind, it's a pet's name.

It is okay but it is totally a boys name.

In the last month I have met 4 little boys named Chance... All under 2. At least in my life, it is feeling trendy and overused.

The word chance itself makes me think of gambling, so it doesn't appeal to me as a name for either gender. "Take a chance" "Game of chance" ... nah, kind of a fly by the seat of your pants kind of name.

Chance is all boy to me, and despite it being a word it doesn't feel too wordy. I've always thought it was kind of silly, but it has always gotten my attention. I have two second cousins named Chance (on two different sides of my family), and they're the only ones I've ever met or heard of.
