I'm not a fan. I find it cutesy and twee and little girlish. Polly? Go ahead. Anna? If you really must. Polly with the middle name Anna... cheesy, but easily overlooked... but the actual name? No. I have a bit of a block on it, to be honest. I think it can be forgiven as a middle name in that you can use it but the poor girl doesn't have to go through life broadcasting it as (part of) her name unless she really loves it.I like:
Beatrice Pollyanna - because I'm a sucker for Beatrice.
Iris Pollyanna
Lucile Pollyanna
Mathilde Pollyanna
Rose Pollyanna
Susan Pollyanna
Vivien Pollyanna

I ADORE Pollyanna and SOOOO wish it were more usable! Glad to know there's someone out there who's as foolish as me :)It doesn't really strike me as a MN but I do like...Beatrice Pollyanna
Iris Pollyanna
^(These are so bright and bouncy!)Edith Pollyanna
Hester Pollyanna
^(These really benefit from Pollyanna's warmth and freshness)

I find it too twee. Pollyanna would only wear plaid dresses with white ankle socks and have plaits in her hair!I suppose it's not too bad as a middle name.

Pollyanna makes me think of the Hayley Mills movie. I love her, but the character grates on my nerves. As a name in and of itself, I have to say I prefer Polly or Anna to the mash-up. It's just too saccharine.

I see it occasionally in British newspapers, so there are obviously people out there who loved this name enough to use it.From your list I like:Adele Pollyanna
Beatrice Pollyanna
Florence Pollyanna
Georgette Pollyanna
Lenore Pollyanna
Margaret Pollyanna
Mathilde Pollyanna
Rose Pollyanna

I don't really like Pollyanna, especially considering that the name has gained another meaning (someone who's way too optimistic). Sorry.

I love Pollyanna!! You have some great combos. My favorites are Catherine Pollyanna, Louise Pollyanna, and Ruth Pollyanna. I think Pollyanna needs a really girly name to go with it. :)

I really enjoy it as well. I think I might be a bit of a sucker for retro pop culture names. It certainly makes a statement!I love these:Edith Pollyanna - The idea of an "Edie Pollyanna" makes my heart flutter
Edna Pollyanna - Edna is an adorable name, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who can see that
Enid Pollyanna
Fern Pollyanna - I think THIS might be MY favourite! :)
Frances Pollyanna
Ingrid Pollyanna - this is striking indeed
Iris Pollyanna
Jane Pollyanna - the epitome of good cheer I think
Lucile Pollyanna - is Lucy Pollyanna too girlish? I really like the idea of Lucy Pollyanna
Zelda Pollyanna - I bet she'd be a riot at parties

You're a fool. But I love fools. :-)I agree that the flow of Ingrid Pollyanna is nice. I just can't get over Haley Mills in those starched dresses and the whole sickeningly sweet aura of it all. It has other overtones for me personally that I can't get over. Sorry.P.S. Please keep up your polls. I look forward to them. Voters on that page don't get enough variety in their name diets.

I like Iris, Vivien and Sigrid as fn, honestly if you're really sold on Pollyanna (and for me it's bearable only as mn) I'd try not to pair it with another "old" name like Myrtle, Winifred, etc.
