Tirion's unisex, and it's not very common. I've only ever met two - a boy who's probably about 20 now and a middle-aged lady. I've always quite liked it.

I like it too. I would use it as a male name; it looks more masculine than feminine to me.Now that I think of it, I think Tolkien used Tirion as one of his city names. I doesn't really surprise me, though, as he liked the Welsh language quite a bit.
