Odhran
On a related note to Oisin. What about Odhran/Oran?
I like the sound better with this one, but still not sure about Luca Odhran/Oran. I seem to keep going for combos that either repeat the C or elide two vowels together.

Hmm. I love Odhran's appearance, but I'm ambivalent toward its pronunciation. I liked the way I first pronounced the name: OTH-ran (voiced th), which is how I'm tempted to say it. O-ran just doesn't flow as well for me, so I think I prefer Ossian.
I don't think Odhran and Luca go together well. I also think Ossian and Luca are a mismatched pair, but they still fit better than Odhran/Luca.

I like it, but not as much as Oisín. I'm not really feeling that combo, either, though. I guess maybe I can't really picture Luca alongside an Irish name. The feel of it is far off the sort of feel most Irish names give me. Maybe if it was with something more mainstream, like Luca Declan or Luca Kieran? That's a bit better.
I think the flow of Odhran Luca is better than the other way around. And for some reason it makes the combo work a bit better for me too.
