I love the name Bethany. It is a bit too soft sounding for me to consider personally, but I think it is beautiful. My best friend and her fiance have the combo Bethany Mae picked out for their first daughter so I am excited that it will most likely be used by someone I love sometime in the near future.

I really like this name and do not think low class at all. It was one of my top ten girl names a few years back when I was pregnant but it seemed a little too "sticky sweet" for some reason and I didn't use it in the end. I can see other spellings being cute too: Bethanie, Bethani. Pretty name!
