I have heard of a female Michael, spelt this way, the traditional way.
I think it is usable on a girl (though my guess it the people posted underneath me will disagree with me!
Michal Cassandra sounds good. NN: Misha, Mikey, Mick, even Caly for the chal ending sound could work
