Not the biggest fan of Maira. Just not my cup of tea. Nephele is neat, though.

Is it MAY-rah or MY-rah? Not bad, reminds me of Maire, which is pronounced differently altogher. :b Not crazy about Nephele, though. ~Heather~

I'd use MAY-rah...But I'm not sure. Its Greek, though.

How is it pronounced? My first instinct was MYE-ra, then I thought MAY-ra or MEH-ra. Maira Nephele does seem sweet ... I really like Nephele :-)_____________________________________________________________________Elinor"Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."

I don't know how Siri is pronouncing it, but in Latin America and among Hispanics in the USA, Maira is frequently found as a "Hispanicized" spelling of Myra, and so is pronounced the same as that name, with the first syllable as the word "my".
