I love Katherine to death, and hate Catherine with a fiery passion. IMHO, Katherine is regal and classy, Catherine is a dowdy cow.

(Sorry to offend anyone, these are just my gut reactions, I've known lovely Catherines, but the spelling just looks so ugly to me)
