It's a very pretty name :) I like both spellings, however Briony does remind me more of the name Brian which I really don't like, so I'll have to go for Bryony :)

Bryony, m.It's accurate! And Briony looks as if it's got a misspelling of Brian built in. Even Briany, awful though it is, would be better.I like Bryony; definitely one of the better (and less sentimental!) flower names. Very usable.
