Ulrich
I don't think I've posted a U name here before (since there aren't too many), but I decided to today. What do you think of the name Ulrich? I personally think it's a very handsome name for a boy.

Ulrich is fine; Uli makes me shudder. So if you can avoid the nn, it'd be A-OK.

There was a semi-famous actor by the name of Skeet Ulrich when I was growing up. Understandably, the name reminds me of him.I don't care for it.

I've been thinking about Ulrich a lot lately! I love the richness and German stolidity of the name -- I'm also quite fond of Ulrica / Ulrika.

I like it. It's one of the few U names I like.

I like it, but I prefer the feminine form Ulrike.

I don't like it, I just don't think it sounds attractive. I also think it's very Germanic, and I would be surprised to see it on an English or American child with no Germanic heritage.

I love it! It's a family name, which makes it all the more lovable for me. My only problem is that my brother and my cousin also want to use it someday.

I don't like it at all, but Ulrich makes me think of the Swedish singer (born 1994) Ulrik Munther - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhnD-WKWsvc

I love Ulrich! I don't know if I'd use it because we already have an Ulrike in our family, but I totally would use it. I love the way it looks and sounds.
