Aria is pretty but I'm not sure it's something I'd use. (I'd be more apt to use Arianna or Ariella.) I do think it would be a nice subtle name paired with Melody for twins (perhaps for mns). I think I'd worry that people would call her 'area.' Where I'm from, it's entirely possible.

I agree that it sounds pretty, but it's just that - a pretty-sounding word, not really suitable for a person's name. As someone who's into opera (hence the posting name :P), I think it sounds kind of silly.

I'm sorry, but I find it airy, insubstantial, and rather irritating. I prefer Gloria.

Soft and pretty. Not a favourite, but I like it, and it has a completely different feeling than Arya, a similar name I like.

I absolutely love it, and I also love Arya. It does age nicely and I think it can be girly at times, but it's short and simple enough that it can fit any personality.

I think it's one of the most beautiful names I've ever heard, and I like the musical connotations as well. I agree that it would suit a person of any age.

I love Aria. To me, it's beautiful and I'd love to use it some day. My favorite combo with it is Aria Catherine

I really like it. Very spunky. I have a harder tim epicturing it on an adult, but it could be worse :)

It's all right. It's pretty, but not beautiful , at least not in my mind.
