I have a lot of nicknames too. It seems like each person has a different nickname for me!
Sam - For the most part, I go by this name. Sometimes, I wish my parents would have just named me Sam. No frills.
Sammy - Only people who are very, very close to me are allowed to call me this name. A strange pet peeve of mine is being called "Sammy" by someone I've just met.
Sama/SamaLlama - My best friend calls me this name (based on the song "Rama Lama Ding Dong" by the Edsels)
SCIGs - My dad calls me this name (based on my initials).
Sammer the Hammer - My soccer nickname that my dad created, because when I was very young, if I didn't get my way, I would bang my fist on the table, as if it were a hammer. It's fitting for soccer because I have a very explosive kick.
George - One day, my cousin Megan and I were playing the game "Guess Who", and I had a character called "George" and she had one called "Jon". We started calling each other these names, our "secret" names. Our family thought it was cute, and eventually, we gave all the women in our family male names and all the men female names. We were weird kids. xD
One-shot [lastname] Jr. - My dad's nickname is One-shot [lastname] because he's a really good hockey goalie, and since I'm a goalie too, his hockey friends call me this name.
SammyJo - My whole family often calls me this name, especially my favourite cousin, Adam. It's a reference to the “Dynasty” character, Samantha Josephine.
G-Unit - My history class nickname. My last name starts with a "G", and I did this infamous rap for a project once, soooo the teacher started calling me "Sammy G", which then spawned into "G-Unit", and it caught on.
Sally – One of my best friends used to call me “Sammy Salamander”. This nickname became really popular with my friends. Then, they gave a nickname to my nickname... and new people who meet me are very, very confused when they hear all my other friends calling me “Sally”.
Other nicknames: Sam-jam, sam-jelly, sam-ram, sam-ham, sam-bam, SamHandwich, sampire, sammerfly, sambchop, sammigator, sambo, spaceSAM, samnana in pajamas, Sam-I-Am, samster, samburger, samurai, Samsung, Samwise Gamgee, Samus... etc.
