BA: Tsia
My friend Taylor has a new baby sister. Tsia Belle Thianxu joins older sisters Taylor (17), Cassidy (8) and Sanis (3) [prn. sah-neece] and older brother Brayden (15). Parents are Heather and Gordie.
What do you think of Tsia? (I think it's pronounced like see-ah)

I saw it on Criminal Minds. I like it! Tsia. It sounds pretty and interesting. Definitely a conversation starter
Just saw this name on a show
My brother and I were watching Criminal Minds and there was a Tsia on there. I think it's rather pretty and exotic.

I don't care for it at all. It sounds like you are saying goodbye to someone.
Horrible name and spelling.
I like it. It looks foreign, but not long or overwhelming.
It's pretty but I wonder about that T. Will it be mispronounced often? How is Thianxu pronounced?
I'm thinking it's likely it will be mispronounced outside of our town, we have quite a few aboriginal names that are different. Thianxu, I think the x is pronounced like an h.
The T seems extraneous to me; I personally prefer the simple Sia.
Unless, of course, Tsia is an ethnic name I don't know of. Is the family of a particular nationality? (I'm also curious about Thianxu).

Tsia I believe it is an Aboriginal name, and that's because her father is Metis. Same goes with Thianxu I believe. Not sure yet what the meanings are. .
Ah, alright. I still prefer Sia, but it's nice to know that the "T" prefix has history and isn't just tacked on as a result of ill-thought creativity.
