Re: Rosana and Rosalind
in reply to a message by Ismene
Well, I'm an English speaker. I looked at Rosana and figured it might be pronounced ro-sah-nuh (long "o" like "hope", soft "s", "a" as in "raw"), but I see it's a variant of Roxana, so I guess the "o" should also sound like "raw".
Rosalind is one I like very much already. I say RAWZ-uh-lind ("i" as in "win").
I prefer Rosalind, for both sound and look, over Rosana.
Rosalind Helena (heh-LE-nuh)
Rosalind Honora
Rosalind Viola (VIE-uh-luh)
Rosalind Maeve
Rosalind Carys
Rosalind Moira
Rosalind Gwen
Rosalind Kate
Rosalind Claire/Clare
Rosalind Tess
Rosalind Winter
Rosalind Pearl
