My cousin's name is Zita, I'd use it if it wasn't though. I love it(:

I'm all about Z names at the moment -- Zillah has laid claim to my heart, and Zelda's a perennial favorite -- so Zita definitely appeals to me. I would be delighted if I encountered it on a little girl!

I do like Zita. It feels fresh and zesty and full of life. Like the weather today (omg, so perfect). However, my favorite pasta growing up was ziti, and I can't get that image of carby tubular deliciousness out of my head. As delicious as it is, I wouldn't use Zita because of the food connection.

I saw a picture of that royal family. It was kind of sad because they were in exile. Still, they looked well off. Her name stuck out and I remember making a mental note to suggest Zita on this board! But I never did. :-/
