I can't quite get over all those boys named Alfie, I knew it was popular, but wow!

Wow so many Alfie's! It is so nicknamey to me. The only one I really like is Aiden David.

Back in the 60s there were three little boys in the town I lived in: Ashley, Dorian and Mark! I've no clue what their ln was or what happened to them, but the sibset stuck in my mind. Dorian is pretty amazing too.

I like it too! Somerled is the father's name, so it's not like they'e going out of their way to be pretentious, either.

What is with the Alfie overload? British people have questionable taste.

What's the appeal of that infantile name Alfie? It's not that cute.

I like:
Alasdair Somerled Charles - cool
(Helena)
(Henry)
Alexander William, brother Finlay
Alfie, sister Amelia Rose - I only like Alfie as a nn, it's amazing how popular it is though, it's nice but nothing that special
Alfred William (Edward)

Alasdair Somerled Charles is certainly handsome, if a bit priggish.
Alex Joseph is cute.
Alexander Brodie and Alexander Donald both have a pleasing Scottish feel.
Wow the Alfie thing really hasn't blown over yet!
Arlie Aaron Ian is a ridiculous tongue-twister of a combo, but I like all 3 names, and am pleased to see Arlie on a boy, though I prefer it as a nn to Arlin, Arland, or even Arlo.

Alfie is still on the rise:-(
It's #4 in 2009 for England/Wales. I wouldn't be surprised if it became #1.
