Out of those, I think the following are fine as full names...Gwen
Greta
Nola
Lula
Molly
Cleo
Nora
Betsy
Elle
LucyQuin
Finn
Alec
Monte
EliThe ones I didn't list were because I either found them too cutesy or too insubstantial to work as a person's full name.

Greta - I don't even consider this a nn
Tess
Nola - again don't consider a nn
Maggie - Love on it's own! And I'm not a huge fan of nicknames as full names
Penny
Della - isn't this an actual name?
Callie
Molly
Sadie
Nora - Again isn't this an actual name?
Betsy
Elle
LucyBram
Quinn - Not really a nickname. It can be but doesn't have to be
Jules
Finn
Drew
Tory - only full name for a boy
Monte
Liam
Leo
Max
Eli

Greta
Nola

I prefer a full name with a nickname for most of these. I don't care for Robbie as a given name for a girl, I would like to see that as a nn for something else. I think Meg seems awful short, would be better short for Margaret or Megan. I don't think Cy is good on its own, it seems too short. Better as short for Cyrus. The rest of the boy names could work on their own.

LucyWhlist some girls named Lucinda or Lucasta or whatever are called Lucy as a nickname, it is a name in its own right. It is the original. MOst of these work, I guess. I would prefer a longer name myself.

I think most of these work on their own, but I think most nicknames are just fine on their own. Many people have them, and they seem to work for them just fine :)
I think any of these can work on their own:
Gwen -I believe a full name in it's own
Greta
Rosie -:) I have a Rosy. She is Rosemary, but Rosy fits her better. It would be fine as a first name
Evie
Nell -I knew a lady named this, it seemed fine for her
Tess
Nola
Penny -I love Penny much more than Penelope
Tori -I knew a lady named this, it seemed fine for her
Della
Lula -This is so similar to Luella, it works
Callie -I knew a lady named this, it seemed fine for her
Cammie -I knew a lady named this, it seemed fine for her
Millie -I knew a lady named this, it seemed fine for her
Molly
Billie -I knew a lady named this, it seemed fine for her
Bobbie -I knew a lady named this, it seemed fine for her
Sadie -Love Sadie, but don't like Sarah, I'd use this as a full name
Cleo -This is on our list for daughter 2.0. It works just fine
Charlie -ALMOST my name, instead I got stuck with my name. I'd rather be a Charlie
Nora -Prefer Norah
Betsy -I knew a lady named this, it seemed fine for her

I actually think most of them can be used on their own. However, these are the only ones I would personally consider viable as full names, in my own personal opinion. Just because I normally prefer fuller versions.Gwen
Greta
Tess
Meg
Molly
Sadie
Cleo
Nora
Elle
Lucy
KateQuin- If spelled Quinn, and I prefer it on a girl.
Jules- Only as a full name for a boy, and I'd still prefer Julian.
Finn
Drew
Alex/Alec
Theo
Monte
Liam
LeoOthers I thought of: Minnie

yes means it works on its own and no means it doesn'tGwen - yip, this one is fine on it's own
Greta - definitely yes
Rosie - hmm no, i think it is only good as a nn for Rosanna etc
Evie - no
Nell - no
Tess - no and I don't like Tessa being used as a full name either
Nola - yes
Maggie - no
Meg - yes, I know a few Megs who are just Meg so I am used to it
Penny - no
Tori - no, I think it is an awful name either way
Della - no
Lula - no
Callie - yes but if it used as a full name I see it as a variant of Kelly, if used as a nickname i see it as being short for Calliope
Cammie - no
Millie - yes, I think so
Molly - yes
Billie - i guess yes, but i dislike people that use it
Bobbie - no
Robbie - no
Annie - no
Sadie - yes
Cleo - yes
Charlie - no for either gender
Nora - yes
Frankie - no
Betsy - no
Elle - yes to an extent
Birdie - this name just shouldn't be used.
Lucy - absolutely
Kate - hmm undecidedBram - yes
Sam - no
Will - no
Ben - no
Quin - yes but prefer Quinn

Nicks as fns aren't my thing, however, as long as they don't end in the 'ie' sound, then I'm good with it because they sound more mature (for example, Kate vs. Katie, Lisa vs. Lissy, Tess vs. Tessie).

Nns that I can see standing alone:Gwen, Greta, Nell, Tess, Nola, Meg, Della, Bram, Will (boarderline), Jules, Finn, Alec, Theo.Mine: Amy, Lucy, Freda, Molly, Lena, Bette, Bess, Nora, Kate, Ada, Jeanette, Lara, Jack, Luke, Mark (sort of), Keir, Eli, Manuel, Max, Percy.Names ending in an "-ie" are tricky. If it's short for something else and ends in an "-ie" then it feels too cutesy to stand on its own. That's just my two cents. Lots of people do it. Plus there are legitimate formal names ending in an "-ie" so it all gets rather blurry.

Lily/Lillie is just as common as a nickname as first name! Thus it must work.
