Welsh BAs
from North Wales:
(f) Nel, parents Berwyn & Awel, brother Bedo, sister Nanw
(m) Wil Wmffra, parents Wil & Daloni, sibs Ifan, Robin, Lili & Nansi
(m) Efan Rhun, parents Dyfed & Roxanne
(m) Eban Morus, parents Lyndon & Delyth
(m) Eban John, parents Philip & Vicky, sister Nel Soffia
(m) Alastair Sion, parents Nicola & SionNot in the database:
Nel & Wil - short forms of Elen and Wiliam
Awel - Welsh word for wind
Bedo - diminutive of Maredudd
Nanw - diminutive of Ann
Wmffra - Welsh form of Humphrey (really uncommon and fun to see)
Daloni - bit of a mystery, this one - it doesn't mean anything and nobody seems to know where it came from, but it's been used occasionally as a Welsh name since 1905.
Dyfed - from the name of a Welsh county
Morus - Welsh form of Maurice.

Yup, the letter 'ff' in Welsh is pronounced like English f, whereas 'f' is pronounced like English v.

Nanw! ♥I also like
Nel (and cutest sibset ever... Bedo? That's new and I love it!)
Nansi
Rhun, like from my favorite books when I was a kid!
LyndonWmffra is totally amazing. I'll have to work on liking the sound, but I love how illogical it looks. :)
