I would probably not use it, if she would also bear the surname Kennedy. But ... if you think about it, her own generation would not have the strength of association that mine and even yours does, with images of Jackie O. It'd be sort of like someone in your generation being named Bess Truman. Which wouldn't have been quite as easily assumed to be after a FL, as being a Betty Ford or Rosalynn Carter at the time, right? Whatever ... I hope you see my point, just that Jackie O is fading into history a bit, and your future daughter's peers will not think it's as namesakey as you do.Caroline _____-Kennedy is sort of similar, I agree with coldplayer. =( I wouldn't be inclined to use that, either. Still and all ... the famous Kennedys are generally a positive image to associate with. If you don't love any other names at all, FWIW I don't think I'd be terribly unhappy with my parents if they named me Jacqueline or Caroline, even if everyone always mentioned the Kennedys when I introduced myself. YMMV
