Geza
This is my professor's name. He's a cool guy, sort of a philosophical Santa Claus. My friend and I call him Geza Claus. AWWW. Man. He's so cool.Anyway, as often happens with neat professors, I think he has a neat name. What do you guys think of Geza? How would you put it in combos? (He's from Hungary; we say it basically gaze-a.)And fwiw, my other profs' names:
Matthias (swiss)
Morten (norwegian)
Barbara (polish)
Wolfgang
Ulrike
BirgittaWow what a cute germanic bunch. Luvs for my profs.

It's good that you put the pronunciation guide in there. Because I was saying it "GHEE-zuh" which was making me think of old geezers and the pyramid of Giza. Not that the pyramid is a bad thing. And old geezers are quite fun, actually. But Geza is better. It's not something that I'd naturally be drawn to. Knowing someone with the name would help. But wowee on the rest of the names. They are what the von Trapp family kids should have been called in "The Sound of Music." OK, so Brigitta was in there.
