Cameron *sounds* ok but to me origin and history are just as important as the sound.
And I don't like surnames or boy's names which have been popular for girls b/c celebreties (Cameron, Drew, Reese etc).
I'll take a classic feminine name like Camilla, Camille, Carmel or Carmen any day.
