Caroline

I've only known two: one was a Caroline and the other a Carolyn. Both got the nn from their younger siblings, who couldn't quite pronounce the long version.

I really like Calla and Calandra. Others I like:
Calanthe
Calanthia
Calliope
Calypso
Caledonia - I wouldn't actually use it, but it sounds pretty and Callie would work well as a nickname for it.Calista has grown on me lately.

My favorite full name for Callie is Calista. Calista is my number one girl name. I'd use it if I ever had a daughter.

I really like Calista, though I don't know if I would use it.

I don't care for Callie but if I had to use it as a nickname, I would use Caroline as a first name.

Calanthe, Calypso, or Camellia.I might pick a name because it is an "elaboration" of a family name: May, Erla, Larry. I may or may not use the family name as the NN though.

Calla of course, and we spell it Calli.

Calista, hands down. Maybe Calypso or Pascaline as well, but I'm most likely to actually use Calista

I think Calista might work best.

dittoCalanthe was my first initial thought. I love that name :DAlso, I'm also used to Callie as a full name in itself, since I've known so many Callie's. It doesn't really stick out as a nn to me anymore, but I definitely prefer it as a nn for something longer.

I think the name Calandra is really pretty. The greek meaning of it is "Lark"
or Callista which means "Most Beautiful". Calliope could be used (not my favorite) it means "Beautiful voice". I also Like Cailin (which is Gaelic and means girl or lass) I might use the name Callie as a nickname. I also think Cal has a nice ring to it as well. I also think Callie could be used just by itself as a full name.
