A girl I know had a kitten named Halo, and as soon as I saw it it sparked a little GP for me.
I definitely see it as feminine, and I'm not sure if it would get past GP stage (if it did, it would only make it to middle name - unless of course DH says so!).
I do associate it with the game and Beyonce, neither of which I favour greatly, but as a GP ... For the sound and the meaning of the actual word, and not the associations, I really like it.
