Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster welcomed their second child together:
Aiden
No word on a middle name yet. He joins older brother Alastair Wallace (5) as well as half-siblings Sarah (48), Kimberly Alana (31), Sean Roderick (30), Ruby (23), Renee (18) and Liam McAlister (16).
I somewhat disappointed with their choice as I loved when they chose Alastair! Aiden is just too modern and poopular and also I much prefer the spelling Aidan.
Thoughts?

A half-sister 48 years older - wow.
Yeah, Aiden is quite a let down. It is the worst named child of the pack.

I was also disappointed. I was hoping for something as fun and quirky as Alastair. And to add insult to injury, they spelled Aidan wrong. I just don't get it.
Maybe one of them names Alastair and the other named Aiden? I just do see the same person choosing both names. Plus, people's naming usually gets better as they have kids, not worse. I have no idea what happened but poor Aiden.
Oh, and btw, I do like Aidan. I think its handsome. Its just so overused and not at all comparable to Alastair. I also don't like it with the E.

I love Aiden, even if it is wildly popular. I think it's an attractive name.
